AI connecting healthcare partners - the pharmaceutical industry

Artificial intelligence has the potential to connect the pharmaceutical industry with other chain partners (patients and medical staff) for the benefit of all stakeholders. Based on anonymous patient data, a pharmaceutical company could better plan its supply chain, reduce production time, and reduce unnecessary waste of materials. On the other hand, patients would receive better quality medicines in return due to a shorter supply chain. From the medical staff, the pharmaceutical company could receive information about suitable patients for clinical testing and, with this, shorten the testing time. In return, patients would receive previously approved medicines and solutions to their troubles. 

The role of technology is in balancing relations between partners. Perhaps the solution could be tackled through the System dynamic method, which offers modelling of complex systems with an emphasis on understanding complex relationships.
